The Creative Literacy Project

The Creative Literacy Project is a program that was designed to promote literacy, improve communications skills, provide a high quality creative and educational experience, and reinforce important social and family values. Have fun with your young author and let their creativity flourish by authoring their own book. TCLP is a computer based activity wherein a facilitator (some examples of a facilitator would be a parent, grandparent or other family member, a teacher, a mentor, or an adjunct health care provider such as a speech or occupational therapist) works with

  • a young author from pre-school through 6th grade or,

  • an elementary school class as a collaborative class project or,

  • an adult literacy student or,

  • a physically or intellectually challenged child or loved one or,

  • a hospitalized or sick child who is subjected to frequent activity limitations

to guide them through the process of authoring their own book using illustrations provided by TCLP.

Support literacy

Read to a child everyday – instilling in young people a passion for reading and writing will serve them well all of their life and it will open the world to them in such a way that  they can become anything they want to be and, learn whatever interests them in their personal and professional pursuits.

Remember, literacy and education allow one the freedom to take flight on the wings of eagles so that they may fly to their dreams where all things are possible!

Does your organization need to raise money for important needs or to provide necessary services?
